Founders
Jeff Brimhall

Jeff Brimhall is the founder of o3o, a super early stage venture building and acceleration firm based in Salt Lake City, Utah. Mr. Brimhall is also a founder and serves as the CEO of CREDIBLI, Inc.; and is a founder and serves as the CEO of Tabsense Corporation

Prior to o3o, Mr. Brimhall was a co-founder and COO of IKANO Communications, an Internet company specializing in private label and wholesale Internet services. At IKANO, Mr. Brimhall also served as EVP Business Development & Strategy, EVP Sales, and CFO.

Prior to starting IKANO Communications, Mr. Brimhall was a founder and Managing Partner of Northstar Capital, a boutique venture investment firm focusing on technology and Internet companies located in the Rocky Mountain Region. Mr. Brimhall’s prior work experience also includes serving as Senior Vice President at Sentry Financial in Salt Lake City and Senior Consultant at Bain & Company in Boston.

Mr. Brimhall received his M.B.A. with distinction honors from Brigham Young University. He also received his B.S. in Business Management from Brigham Young University.

Mr. Brimhall and his wife have two children and reside in Salt Lake City. Mr. Brimhall spends most of his free time in the mountains hiking, backpacking, fishing and camping.

Jonathan Ruga

Jonathan Ruga, M.B.A., C.P.A., J.D., is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Sentry Financial Corporation, a boutique financial services company based in Salt Lake City, Utah. Sentry specializes in equipment finance, real estate finance and private equity. o3o is one of several Sentry portfolio companies.

Prior to his employment in the financing industry, Mr. Ruga worked with the prominent Salt Lake City law firm of Parr, Waddoups, Brown, Gee & Loveless (www.pwlaw.com), where he specialized in the areas of financing and leasing, federal taxation, and general business and corporate law. Prior to his legal career, Mr. Ruga worked for two years with a local public accounting firm, specializing in the management consulting and federal income tax areas.

Jonathan is a member of the Board of Trustees of three charitable or non-profit organizations: Rowland Hall St. Mark’s (a private school located in Salt Lake City with grades from pre-school through 12th, www.rhsm.org); the Boys’ and Girls’ Clubs of Greater Salt Lake (www.bgcgsl.org); and the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law (www.law.utah.edu). For seven years ending in 2003, Mr. Ruga was on the Board of Trustees (and for one year was President) of The Road Home, a charitable organization that focuses on providing housing and related services to the homeless population along the Wasatch Front (www.theroadhome.org).

Mr. Ruga received the Alumnus of the Year Award for 2007 from the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law for his personal commitment to the law school and its students.

Mr. Ruga and his wife have three children and reside in Salt Lake City. Mr. Ruga enjoys playing the guitar, playing racquetball, and mountain biking.
